The very first perfume by Oscar de la Renta, created in 1977. Being inspired by the rich, erotic scent of ylang-ylang blossom, it patently reveals its young and playful spirit. A good part of the inspiration was derived from the lavishing beauty of Oscar’s childhood gardens in Santo Domingo.
The composition starts with the brilliant harmony of orange blossom, peach, coriander, clove, galbanum, basil, and gardenia. It continues with the original notes of ylang-ylang, jasmine, rose, tuberose, rosemary, cyclamen, lavender and amber and finishes with carnation, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, lavender, amber, and opoponax.
In the year of 2007, Oscar De La Renta celebrated its 30th anniversary. Notwithstanding its many years of existence, the perfume is still all the rage and gladly worn by women of all ages and profiles. The vivid floral composition and its effervescent nature are undoubtedly considered immensely attractive by both young and older female population.
