The past experiences with cooking rice in an ordinary pot turned out to be quite unnerving for many of my acquaintances and myself as well. It either gets totally undercooked or turns into an overcooked mush that frequently has the tendency to make a nasty mess on my stovetop. In the worst case scenario, it completely burns the bottom of the pot which makes it wholly useless for any subsequent cooking chore. Whiles I am well cognizant of the fact that pots and saucepans will always be indispensable cooking utensils, I have always lived with the thought that there must be something more advanced, more useful that would save my nerves, time, money and still succeed in making wholesome and appetizing meals. And then, quite by chance, I heard my colleague bragging about a remarkable appliance she got from her cousin as a wedding gift. It could obviously be seen that she could not possibly hide her intense and eager enjoyment about having it; it was a sort of revelation to her. As you have probably guessed, I decided to treat myself to one of those smart kitchen machines since I am so eager for new experiences, and here’s what I’ve discovered:

Don't Be Fooled by Its Name!

The purchasing choice was far from easy as every single of Bilablau Rice Cookers had superior features, I’ve finally resolved to buy one by Tristar company, Rice Cooker RK-6117 being its official name. Although I know I would not go wrong with any of their products as their technical characteristics are so akin and they operate using almost identical principle, I had no regrets investing in this particular one. That being said, I must say that I absolutely love it! You’d be surprised but the number of dishes you can prepare in this cooker is verily huge. Knowing that I could cook beans, lentils, soups, pasta, vegetables, meats and seafood in it has awaken my interest, making me realize that cooking could really become something that I can find genuine pleasure in.

Al Dente Rice

This Rice Cooker model has the capacity of 0.6 liter, i.e., it prepares small portions of perfectly cooked rice, which is ideal for the needs of my family, although there are plenty of others with larger capacity like Rice Cooker RK-6126 of 1 liter or RK-6129 of 2.2 liters, also manufactured by the Tristar firm. Putting all other advantages aside, it goes without saying that the best part of it is that the cooking is so simplified with this product that every family member would be able to do it consistently: the preparation method is entirely hassle-free and all you have to do is put in the adequate amount of water and rice and devote yourself to other household chores without having to monitor the cooking progress. To everyone’s liking, it turns off automatically when the food is ready. Rice Cookers typically have a removable inner pan with non stick coating, exhaust outlet that helps the boiling water escape, boil-dry protection, non-slip feet and keep warm function. The majority of them include a measuring cup and spoon that could be of a great assistance during cooking. The ultimate and the most significant advantage to some is improved nutrition. Given that rice is considered as one of the healthiest and most beneficial food, it largely helps with digestion, provides instant energy and stabilizes blood sugar levels which are all compelling reasons for placing the rice maker amongst my essential household appliances.

Try It and See for Yourself
